On the waterfront

Went down to the waterfront yesterday to shoot some photos. This scene wouldn't be out of place in the Yukon or Alaska (except for the flag)

Yet if you turn 90 degrees to your left you see this: million dollar waterfront condos

For a city of over 2 million, Vancouver still has a remarkable frontier feel about it.

    Hi there.......I've been to Vancouver several times, and I love the place, it is a beautiful City in a beautiful location.

    Whats the upside down building meant to represent??? I'm curious headscratch.gif

    I'm not sure. The first time I saw it it reminded me of Dorothy's house landing on the witch in the Wizard of Oz. It looks like a church when flying through the air during a tornado and landed here, or something.

    Nice to see Kenmore Air is still flying...

    I love the seaplane shot...I think that's the view that gives you that
    frontier feel.
