Went down to the waterfront yesterday to shoot some photos. This scene wouldn't be out of place in the Yukon or Alaska (except for the flag)
Yet if you turn 90 degrees to your left you see this: million dollar waterfront condos

For a city of over 2 million, Vancouver still has a remarkable frontier feel about it.
