I was thinking about entering this into the current challenge.

I wish I could remove the slight yellow hue, but alas, no PS color tools allowed.

What do you think? Or does it not make you think? Is there too much color?

It's a great shot and if, "if", the yellow were gone (and I'm not sure WB adjustments are verbotten), where would your "color" be?

If I was alllowed PS I would make it look like this:

    61619024-L.jpg

Still yellow - just not on the outside of the sockets.

jwear, the "white" is on the right side and the "black" is on the left side.
    Yeah, MesaMan, they're brand new ; ).

It is a really cool shot, but I think it has too much chrome and color

    I like it
You can probably reshoot so you have stronger whites and blacks, why not try all the sockets standing straight up, and just have one socket facing the camera so the yellow shows? That should solve all the problems, less yellow, more black and white...:):

Very creative shot. Love the colour all round. As for the challenge 15524779-Ti.gif with the others.

    Loving it...
Great shot AndyMan. Indeed you must get "closer" of Ch.61 theme.
