    In my entry i had to remove some purple fringing & sharpened a bee's doodle. Is that considered ok ? Can we enhance the small amount of colour that is evident ?
    as the official poster-boy and biggest fan of "no photoshop challenges" let me give you my take: stuff like that has always been OK. you're not altering, just enhancing a bit, regular "developing" techniques.

    Just no layers and masking and that sort of trickery to isolate your color or hide it in this particular challenge.
