Like everyone else will be, I suppose. Any tips on locations?

Are you in/familiar with DC? There are of course the cherry blossoms in Kenwood (neighborhood in Bethesda, MD), though not so much for photographing, more for driving under with the sunroof open.

I live in Delaware, but it's close enough for a day or overnight trip. We haven't seen the WWII memorial and some other stuff yet, and it would make a fun trip for the two little ones I think.

I think all this week is the best time to go. I haven't been there in a few years but I remember seeing this site somewhere.

Thanks for the link - great info there. I'd love to get a sunrise shot of the Jefferson Memorial, but doubt we can get down there early enough.

That's the plan I'm currently forming. We either drive down from Wilmington leaving ~4:00 AM or stay overnight locally somewhere. Suggestions as to parking, traffic to avoid, cheap hotels, etc more than welcome. :D
