    Awesome series, Steve! clap.gifclap.gifclap.gif
great detail, color (considering that it's taken at dusk) and composition.
this proves that patience and persistence does have its rewards.

Hmmmmmm Too bad the food challenge is over. The bloody string is great and not great at the same time (depending on when you ate last).

Nice series of shots. Did you use a Better Beamer on the last 3?

Outstanding Steve. It is amazing how birds are such creatures of habit. Once they get in a routine they stick with it until the food runs out.

I used my 580 ex with the better beamer on the last three, I have another 20 or so shots that are just beautiful of this bird, I got to within 15ft or so.

It's amazing to watch this bird hunt, she's effortless at it, she'll swoop down grab the rat without even touching down, spin around and come back to the roost, Just Awesome to watch.
