I was driving around in Palm Desert in southern California hoping to capture some birds in flight, but alas, had to settle for this scene instead :cry
Palm trees anybody? :D

are you sure this is southern California? We've been getting nottin' but grey skies and rain for almost the whole month of March. Where'd the blue skies come from? Oh, I know, the mountains keep the clouds in the LA basin and it stays nice in the desert? sighrolleyes1.gif

Love the palm in front of the snow capped peaks. It is just *so* So Cal:D

It does seem indeed that LA and PD are worlds apart sometimes.
I took this picture a couple of weeks ago when so-cal was geyying drenched with cold showers and the snow level was down to 4000ft.
After taking this shot I decided to take the tram up that very mountain it the background (will post some of those later)
    Thanks Colleen
