Here's my first shot at Ch 61.

Tripod

What do you think? At first I thought it might be too colorful. Then I tried converting it to b&w and found that there wasn't much difference. Comments and critiques welcome.

I like it, but here's three pieces of CC:

    1) Try a true white sheet, instead of muslin (or whatever you've got there)
1b) If you can't find one, shoot raw and select the back as your WB point
    2) While you've got nice shaping with the sidelight, I'd recommend a 3/4 light camera left to add a bit more depth.
2b) If you only have one source (Sunlight?) make it a 3/4 camera right source.
    3) Make the red Manfrotto logo more visible and central -- I almost missed it!

Thanks HD! Just the kind of feedback I was looking for. I'll try a reshoot tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Dan,

Are we going to see a reshoot? I love the idea of the tripod but find the drapery of the sheet distracting. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Thanks Virginia. Yes, I'll be reshooting it tonight. I think my camera is getting noisier. This was shot at ISO 64! Grrr! I need a new camera.
