No Egrets Found, but
There were gorgeous flowering bushes and the fresh green leaves of spring, yesterday, March 28, at Boone Hall Plantation.
Both photos were taken very late afternoon. The second is a walkway over a marshy swamp. The trees are growing in water........it is the lowcountry of the south, smile.
ginger (I saw one measly egret too far away for pixels. This is the place I saw Wood Storks last year. I suppose I won't see them again for awhile.)

After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Great composition on the second one, that boardwalk makes me want to walk down it. It might benefit from a little more contrast.

It is in focus in one area, smile. I liked it, maybe I should not have posted it though.
On the second one, well..................what can I say, I desaturated it, put fog on it, got it so I like it, and it definitely lacks contrast, but, well, I liked it, guess I shouldn't show these................contrast, OK, it was the middle of the night, early morning when I worked these up, but I still like them.
I promise, no more flowers, particularly if I can find an egret, or many egrets, or something. I do like the soft look (not as in OOF), but as in not contrasty, of late day early spring folliage.
thanks for stopping, Steve. You do great stuff, and I really appreciate your comments.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
