Set this still life up on kitchen table; black mat board background; no real studio set up here.

Shot with Canon A80, with piece of white paper taped over flash to try to soften it a bit. Photoshop levels, saturation, slight perspective, slight sharpening.

It's a bit low tech, but do you think it meets requirements of Challenge 61?

    yeah, nice concept and well executed.

    Do you have a white or black candlestick? What's the connection between the cup and candle (except their colour umph.gif !)

    It may be low-tech, but I think this is a wonderful execution. As mentioned by Adrian, if you could, in some manner, get the candlestick to match the cup you would have an absolute killer pic.thumb.gif
