These are gorgeous!!! I agree with Ed, I like the foggy shot the best, but they are all very nice! I keep wanting to crop the last one tighter to focus on the roots...but then it might not fit in as well with your "theme"! Hmmm.....that #1 sunset shot is a keeper!!! thumb.gif

I checked out your galleries the other day and you have some very nice images. I especially liked your shot with the rays of light going through the trees.

Hey there Laurie! I was thinking about it but then I did apply some sepia so I don't know if that would count. I do have a few others in mind though...

    Hi Rene,
They are all wonderful! You could certainly enter the foggy day one...just rework it a bit (you saved the original file, right?!!??) to follow the rules for the current challenge. I love the moodiness in that one particularly, but also the various types of light you captured in your other photos. Several of them would make great calendar photos (or jigsaw puzzles...the really HARD kind, lol!) but above all, you should print 'em and hang 'em on some prominate walls somewhere (maybe even you local coffee shop or library...).

    Cheers!

Thank you Nee! I thought about entering that one but in re-reading the rules I noticed that there needs to be a spot of color, which that one lacks (original shot in color but it was so dreary and foggy that no color shows through). Laurie was referring to the photo below, from the same series, whose original may meet the criteria...I'm just not as crazy about this one.
