Had some fair light before the storms rolled in, still had to use ISO 800. C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Getting closer but still a fair crop on this one

I so wish this had been in focus, but I'm posting anyway.

Nope nothing yet. I really hope to give lightning shots a try. Probably best look up the links and write down HOW to do it.:):

    Thanks Gus.

That Jay shot is very nice Thusie thumb.gif I like the sparrows and the feeder too. I wouldn't sweat the heavy cropping. Those guys are so small and skitish, you'd need a longgggggg (and expensive lens) to make them large enough, within the frame. Or, you could erect a hide :D Dunno, if sparrows are worth going to that much trouble for....Laughing.gif On the other hand, if you have kids you can let them use it as a tent when you're not shootingrolleyes1.gif

Anyhow, good work and your Jays are prettier than ours :cry

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Steve, sparrows are practice ( I get way excited when I get one in focus) and I've got to learn to use the 400 much better than I am now. Will get there, I hope:): Thanks again and it is very nice to be able to do those big crops!

...just popped a (big) box in the mail to you. Get ready with plenty of mangos & can of mace or 3. He stands about 6 tall & will keep an eye on the house for you whilst you out as well.

ps...he will want everything announced with a broard aussie accent so dont upset him ok ?

Nice series Thusie, love the expression on the first one. Nice sharpness on the second. It might benefit from a little levels and or curves to set the black point and increase contrast.

The third one is a neat behavior shot!
