Shot this yesterd, blew the sky out so that I could add the clouds (I shot them in earlier this summer)

    I can post a pic of them if you wish, I shot them through my car window when I was in Montreal this past spring. The clouds were dark, and I ripped off about 30 images. Perfect for stock shots.

    Got me thinking.
    You know I wouldnt have tohought to capture just the sky for future use. You got me thinking....Thanks for the post.

    I have never thought that myself. Was in the car (passenger) saw these clouds and thought hmmmmmmm why not. Burned them to cd and stored them away. I'll be honest with you, I have used these clouds in alot of images now. When I shoot, I see the finished image, just like this truck shot, I knew I was going to use these coulds, I blew out the sky so that I could make my selection easier in post processing.

    Another thing to look for is cool water and waves.
