    It looked like a plecostamus headscratch.gif (spelling may be screwed up on that), like I used to have in my fish tank. They have nice barbs in thier fins, I'm surprised that birdie was able to get him down. But I guess he was smart enough to spin him around.

    Excellent sequense. I am always amazed at how those birds are able to swallow their catches. Haven't seen anything like that since I had dinner with Andy. rolleyes1.gif

    Thanks to all for viewing and commenting
    I was out of town for the weekend (got to work sometime) and am now getting back.
    It indeed seemed like quit an ordeal for the Cormorant downing such a big catch. Makes me feel fortunate for the ability to savor small portions of my food before swallowing. But, then again, when it comes to money...hmmm:eat
