Nice series of shots, Russ. thumb.gif That bunny would probably taste just like egret if you grilled him. :D Next year I'll send you some egrets. You'll have to pay for shipping, though. rolleyes1.gif

    Wonderful series/shots, Russ!

(But I still have egrets and most of them are looking for food, or they were yesterday, lots of those shots left!............hehe, they don't actually go for small birds, but they sure watch out for big birds)

Seems to me like small birds are afraid of everything. I know this sounds like heresy, it is meant as humor, but do you drug their water to get those fabulous shots???

I did get one hiding in the grass yesterday. I saw many more, tried to get them, they flew away, and/or were inevitably behind branches, etc.

I did get one sitting on the gutter/roof on the townhouse nextdoor to me. Nice bird, ugly gutter.

    Really nice!

Outstanding shots Russ. I do have to tell that although egret fest has ended its still OK to post egret shots because every day is an egret day. :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Egret fest can't be over. I haven't even seen one yet here in Minn.

Btw, I really like the Weed Warbler shot.

Maybe I can borrow some of your Egret shots for next year's Egret Fest:D
There seems to be an abundance of small birds around here so every once in a while one gets a lucky shot. No Eagles though:cry ...:):
    Thanks Ginger
