March Picture Flood?

Just checking if anything happened odd in March that would result in a dramatic increase in bandwidth. It seems many of my galleries were hit with odd traffic patterns, very few "thumbnail" size hits and thousands of "small" hits, even for galleries with but a few tens of photos. Is it something to do with the latest JPEG updates:

I went from an average of 12,000 hits/month to 80,000 in March? Very strange, especially since I didn't upload hardly any new content.

Anybody experience something similar?

Nope - the jpg compression affects new files uploaded.
