    Yeah, I don't like the comp on the first. The red and the axle for me are what grab my eye, but they're not composed in a way that works, IMO. Spread out to the edges of the frame, the result being that I'm not sure where to look...

    I like the feather better than the wheel, But I think it needs to be angled
    in the shot, or you need to get in really close, or both.

    I think the first one is too colorful (too much brown). I like the feather idea a lot. The little green weed is perfect. I agree that the feather would be better on a diagonal.
