These little guys were doing a spot of fishing when I turned up and didn't seem to mind sharing the jetty with me while I took a few shots.

Obviously there were plenty of fish to be caught

Neat series. Are they a species of Tern?

Good captures. Terns are not an easy subject to shoot.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks all for the comments. They were doing so much fishing just off the end of the jetty that i had plenty of opportunity to catch them in flight and they definitely didn't mind me sitting only a few meters away almost within touching distance of them while they went about there business.

Good catches, Mushy! I covet the "bird with fish" shots. I have like one from the other day that I have not worked up, but I don't get many. I think my birds catch insects, smile.
