We were in DC on Friday for some photography and sightseeing. I was out at dawn at the Tidal Basin and Memorials area and spent about two hours shooting. After breakfast, we all took the Metro back to the Mall and we did a LOT of walking. We had a great time - $290 hotel was $52 on Priceline, food was good, weather was beaufitul, kids loved it. The gallery is here. I still have some pics to work on (including a couple panoramas), but here are some of my favorites so far. C&C welcome, as are funds for an upgrade from the 18-55 kit lens which these were all taken with.
