Funny photo...not sure what the "message" is, but it does make you wonder, lol!
While I am by no means any sort of portrait photographer, it seems to me that having her pose in a squat seems rather awkward and unflattering. It makes her look larger than she probably is because her rather ample bossoms hide her waist, and so the eye is fooled to think her midsection is equally as large.
Also, the flat-footed position of her feet makes her legs look shorter than they probably are. As far as I understand it, the idea of glamour (cheesecake) photography is to have the model look "sexy", so elongating the body and legs would be a way to move in that direction.
But I do like the fact that you have interjected humor into the shot, so kudos for that!!! But when you are going for humor, you might try making it a bit more obvious...like slapstick. The message is a little lost in this photo, so it almost seems like she is squatting and removing her panties in order to go tinkle. If that was the intended message, a roll of toilet paper next to her would have made the joke more obvious.
If the message was meant to show her as being sexy because she has no underwear on, well...uh...what can I say? I'm not *into* women as a sexual turn on, (being one myself), lol!
A good effort...just needs a little tweaking, IMHO~
The darkness... though I like it.. seems to confuse and obstruct... just as you said. heheh Thanks for that.. I will have to rethink this one.
This is a quick lightening of the photo. The reason it exists at all is because we were shooting in a studio... had some time and while she was in that dress and hat, thought I would make use of the old case the studio used for bits and bobs.
My mistake for soaking it all out.. I see that now.
She is an actress in the uk and has a terrific figure. This was my idea... sort of a lady opening a case and oooh! Whats all This Inside?!?
its like cricket, the yanks just dont get cricket.
Hey, we may not have the big spiders and what-not you have in Australia, but we have crickets!
While the first may be a bit dense in the blacks, the second is WAY too processed. If you're going to bring out any details in the shadows, be very careful. Very.

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence that you tried~
