Morro Bay Weekend

I had the pleasure of spending the weekend in Morro Bay (California - Central Coast) and environs. I had my 20d and my brand new 17-40 lens (along with the almost new 100-400 IS). Here are a few shots that I like - including the girlfriend who makes this kind of journey worth taking.

    I wish it were mine! BTW - the owner of the car and his dog would have made for a great shot, but he wasn't into it. The car has been featured in a book on Woody's according to the owner.

    Sunshine, blue skies? What's that?
    I like going to Morro Bay too, haven't been that way in a couple of years though. How nice to see blue skies! (I'm jesting a bit, I've seen blue skies in the last month, but only briefly between rain storms).

    Love the car, what a great shot!

    And of course, enjoyed your shots of the area too!

    I like how you got that gorgeous green color in the wave! I'm always trying to catch those myself.

    I am so happy with the print I made of that wave shot. My new Epson R1800 printer really did it justice. This is the first time I ever got that color - it really is a matter of the right time and the right facing beach.:):
