I've searched and searched...
how to get and post a 'screen capture' (not just an image)
EX: something on my site(a page or portion of) I may want to show as a way to solicit help rather than spend all nite (trying) to type an accurate description...

RE: 'reading is hard'
thanks,
rich
I have FF & safari- when i've tried to click and drag it wouldn't work

Specific EX: the partially visible SS control buttons on my home page...

Get to the screen you want to take a capture of and then press the "Print Screen" button. This is located up in the right hand corner of your keyboard. Basically you are copying the screen. Now all you need to do is open a paint type program ie. Microsoft Paint and simply paste or "Ctrl V". Viola there you have it.

    d00d, on a mac? Couldn't be easier :D

    cmd-shift-4.
    get cross hairs
    select your area
    click
    it's on your desktop

to upload as a dgrin attachment, it must be less than 125Kb jpb, and 800px max on the longest side.

That's the one - you may get a taste of the Windows world via mac. My guess - it will be bitter. :D
