I love tree frogs!

I wish I had used a little slower aperture. Though it was really dark and I was using the onboard flash. You all like?

Nice capture, Ian. Be sure to wash your hands after handling that frog. umph.gif:D These little guys are sooooo cool. I like the really colorful ones...too bad some are toxic.

neat shot! I like how the lines coming from its "nose" blend right into the eye.

You did a nice job of laying out the image and filling the extra space with the greenery it was sitting on.

I never actually touched it. In the wild.....Phuket, Thailand.

it was a 100mm macro lens at f4. The frog was quite small so I was actually very close to it. I don't know why it didnt jump away.

I have another that I'll post soon. Different type of frog.

And, thank you everyone for the kind comments.

Here's another one from the same area. I managed to support my camera for this one so I was able to use a smaller aperture (f8).

you got yourself a toad here - but, again, great job w/ the photothumb.gif

I imagine this one was quite a bit bigger than your treefrog?

    cheers,
