Perfectly Clear is an award winning and multi-patented technology, that utilizes the physics principles of light. It is the only technology that automatically and instantly optimizes the lighting for each and every pixel while maintaining true color and zero clipping. At the same time Perfectly Clear will automatically remove abnormal tint and restore faded photographs. As the final touch, Perfectly Clear utilizes patented medical imaging technology to provide photographs with optimal contrast and sharpening.

Perfectly Clear is a part of the new Bibble Labs version 4.7 which is nothing like any other Bibble release. I'm just getting to know it, but, so far it's fairly amazing. This will take the sweat out of image editing for a lot of folks that don't want the steep learning curve associated with many image editing programs.

I was just looking at this. Did you get the PRO or LITE version? Why? Do you find Bibble to be better than ACR? ACR is all I've ever used so I have nothing to compare it to to see how good it is. I'm assuming with Bibble you open and process the file the open it with PS and finish editing it there. As opposed to ACR where PS automatically opens it when you click ok.

The main reason I looked at Bibble is because it supports the raws of the 30D. After having to shoot jpeg for the last couple days I really miss raw.

    Thanks,

    Eric

    Adaptive adjustments
Thanks for the mention of "Perfectly Clear".

I found my way to the details of how it works, at http://www.athentech.com/details.html.

The recent post at Digital Outback Photo on how Photoshop Shadow/Highlight Adjustment and RawShooter Premium Fill Light work, at http://www.outbackphoto.com/workflow/wf_90/essay.html, seems to describe the same principle.

I find these explanations to be very helpful.

This was truly last light, my legs were tired, my husband could no longer read and was anxious to leave, but the magic and I, we lingered........"

The Pro version....although I will probably opt for the lite since I really don't need the pro features.
First of all let me say that I'm not a big proponent of raw shooting. While it has it's advantages, for the casual shooter it's overkill for very little gain.
My point was this Perfectly Clear technology and the fact that for many....it's all they would have to do to make a decent shot into a very good shot just by pressing one button. It truely is amazing. It works on JPEG's too.

Perfectly Clear goes way beyond fill light....try it. You can even use a dash of fill light on certain under exposed shots after applying PC.
