I recently moved into a new house, behind me which is a small wetland type area. On a recent walk, these are some of my new 'neighbors' I came across:

After the walk, we had a nice Sierra sunset out the backwindow.

Thanx for looking. Comments/critiques welcomed. Kevin.

All that and a house, too!!!! Now those are the kind of neighbors to have! How convenient for someone involved in photography. That last shot is a stunner. Where do you live, if you don't mind me asking. It sure is a pretty view! thumb.gif

First off, you suck! I don't know if I would ever leave my house with a view like that. Second, those are some sweet Harrier shots. I have a feeling we are going to see a lot of great shots coming from you.

Thanx saurora for the comments. I have some other neighbors, but they have been a ittel camera shy (redtails, night herons, pipers, and assorted other ducks). I live in Reno, east side of the sierras. kevin.

Thanx Nick (I think). I do appreciate the comments. And yes, I'm looking forward to many more photo ops at the new place. kevin.

Thanx Steve- yes I'm technically moved in, however there remains a long list of projects and 'honey-do's' that comes with a new house. But there does seem like there should be plenty of opportunities for pix right over the back fence.
As for the pintails, well even a blind squirell can find a nut ever now and then.
