    Awesome! But I'd go monochrome.

Great idea and wonderful composition...but I think the sponge/loofa is a little washed out.

    (no pun intended)

I like how the underside of the sponge is in focus (to the right)...try to get the edge (as in, the part directly facing the camera) a bit more in focus and detailed as well so that you can tell exactly what it is!

(...okay, so maybe the pun was intended) mwink.gif

I like the fast shutter speed capturing the droplets, and the shallow depth of field. I would keep it as a color image, though. A b&w conversion would add nothing to this photo. One thing you might want to change. The handle of the faucet is visible in the background. Consider cloning it out or reshooting from a different angle. thumb.gif

I love what you've done. I'm not sure the centered loofah is working, though. You've cut the frame into three equal parts. Which one should we look at first?

I think the color is nice, especially if you could somehow get a reflected colored light source in the water.

    Very nice shot.

Thank you for all your comments and suggestions.
I can see where the balance is off and the image is divided.
I like the idea of B&W also.
    I reworked two versions.

One cropped in B&W and the second keeping the color and different crop.
Now I am totally confused! Don't know what I like best.... Laughing.gifne_nau.gif

I think that's a tricky one, the photo above and below loofah looks good, so I'm not sure which direction (up or down) to go in off-centering the loofah - or if it needs to be done.

I prefer the colour ones myself.

It's tough...but I think I prefer the b+w with the crop. I still think the side of the loofa looks a little too blown out, though.

Love the water captured on both ends. I like the black and white on the best, but both are great shots. Very hard to do, I know!
