I don't know Sam, were you debating with her?

Who is this Yuri? Sounds like a female-Japanese name or a Druid word.:):
His most recent post in this forum (People) is found here. If you search for his posts, you will find some of the most wonderful head-shots. I don't know what he thinks of his work, but most here (me included) think he has great and developing talent for almost impromptu (sp?) photographs. Very nice work.
Sam,
Not too bad at all But it does look like she's about to beat you over the head with your camera Yuri's girls never look that PO'd. Even wearing these stoopid big white ears, I don't get glares like that....lol
Just my $.02, but I think a fill flash would have helped lighten her eyes (not to mention add a catchlight).
Actually she really wasn't as mad as she looked, but when you pointed the camera at her this is what you got. Fill flash would have helped here, I agree, she was under a canopy, and the outside was much brighter. She was about one stop under exposed, and the background was about one or more stops over exposed. I am just trying to learn how to use the new camera. (Blame the camera, yeah....that's the ticket). :

Oh, okay. I just didn't know who he was. That one picture I just saw of his of that girl is very vividly clear. I agree, his headshots are wonderul! And, I haven't seen any bad pictures in here of anyone elses... except for mine.

What did you say to that chick to deserve a glare like that? Lordy!
Great exposure in challenging light. Even though the background is blown, the piccie workie.
Have you considered cropping a little off the top and right?
