Still waiting for the green of spring

The weather's been pretty good lately, but still no green for the most part yet.

On the plus side, there's no leaves to get in the way for bird shots







Couldn't get too close to this noisy fellow (gal?) there were two of them trading tree pounding sounds. The bigger one was shy and well camoflaged against the trees.

Nice photos, I feel your pain about spring. This has to be the longest drearierst winter every in my neck of the woods.
