Corkscrew Hazel :) This is their best time of year. The foliage actually isn't very nice...so winter/spring is the best time for them.

    Nice shots. :D

    Are these as agressive as other willows. I've often thought about getting one. I have some Dappled Willow bushes that I'm afraid are going to have to come out. (too close to house)

    This is a hazelnut shurb (Corylus), but never really produces nuts. Willows (Salix) are different and DO love moisture in the ground and seek it out. This shrub will get some size to it but it can be pruned to keep it smaller. It looks better larger though.

    That's the trouble with speed reading. I just looked at the pics and saw "corkscrew" and assumed from there.:crazy
