Shot in RAW.

Landscapes in the Bay Area tend to be pretty dry this time of the year.
Give us a few showers, like we've had today, and the hills green up nicely.

Comments or suggestions?

I like it a lot, too. Is this for the landscape thing? Can we post them yet?

Here's another I'd like some input on. Especially suggestions for the oe in the
right corner (tho it's almost like the scene).

I like both of them. I think I'd try some curves on the sky in the second one. I don't know what needs fixing in the right corner. I think you need to type that one again.

Both beautiful shots! I like the first one more - minimalistic and very lovely!

If you shot this in RAW like your other shot, you can open 2 versions of the same shot, one adjusted for the foreground, the other for the background (There was a thread on this, I think is Photoshop Shenanigans).

You then bring in the second shot as a layer in the first and use a layer mask to blend the two. I've done it a number of times to save a sky.

I still think your first shot is the more compelling of the two, dramatic sky, long ess curve fading into the horizon ...

I too like them both. I love shots where there is a path, road or fence to lead you somewhere. Great shots!thumb.gif

I prefer the first one. It is simple and effective. The colors are bright and the textures crisp. Very nice shot! :)

The second iis definitely a beautifull place, but the landscaper already did most of the work for you.. (just kidding but you know what I mean...) ;) I guess I usually am more impressed by natural landscapes as opposed to manmade...

Both very good pictures, but I think the first one is the stronger image.
