The surprise came with this first image.......
I rarely capture "bugs" but was surprised by this visitor to the flower I was focused on at the time. Shot with my 90 mm macro lens... and ran!! :-)

This one really caught my attention.....
everyone else walked by it like it wasn't even there!!
Shame on them..... there's beauty all around us!

Hope you enjoyed the ride?
Have a great day and please.....

Great color in these Markjay. I'm getting jealous of all these flowers and springtime shots being posted in here. The top photo I think might look better with the full flower in the bottom of the frame and part of the other flower in teh upper left, the bottom just looks so empty to me. The bottom shot I think could use a little fill flash. Not very much but just a little to brighten it up since it looks like it is partialy backlit. Post more flowers so I can pretend it is really springtime here. Beautiful flowers, thanks for posting them.

    Hey Mark
I really like the second flower -- orchids? I kind of like the dark backlit quality, but probably some shadow/highlight would make it pop more. I'm not sure which way I'd like it best... hope all is going well...:):

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
