Looking for Mentor
Hi. This is my first post. Have enjoyed reviewing threads and viewing pics. Very humbling but inspiring. Started two years ago with Panny FX7. Stepped up (maybe) to the sd550 a few months ago. Have borrowed a buddy's D70 a couple of times and got the DSLR itch. With value being my main criteria, I selected the Maxxum 5D. (Am well aware of situation with Minolta and Sony.) Will have it in my hands in the next few days. Have reviewed the forum looking for someone else with 5D/7D experience but didn't see anyone. Please let me know if we have any other Minolta people out there. If not, I suppose I will become "the expert".
