I thought I had lost these shots from last fall in Chattanooga. :uhoh

Apparently, they were hiding in one of my CF cards in the bottom of my camera bag, waiting to escape:D , but I caught them, and now I am in the process of editing them.:clap

Haven't seen too many trains shots here lately, but the Tennesse Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga is definitely worth a look, if you enjoy looking at old iron.

Here is the traditional shot of a coupler - usually displayed in B&W like this

But, I think I may prefer the color version here

Here is a passenger car waiting restoration.

Since I live in the Wabash Valley in Indiana, I could not pass up this Wabash Line caboose

Nice. One of my best memories is messing around in the train yard with my dad in Croton-on-Hudson. Lots of old abandoned cars there. And then we had pizza. Anyway, I like trains. I like your shots, too.

When you next make it out here, you'll want to stop at the Sacramento
Railroad Museum. Last time I was there, I saw photographs of the various
impliments for clearing snow from the track. That snow thrower was amazing!

I favor the B&W version of the coupler...

Isn't it nice when you come across images you forgot you had :D or even when you learn something new and you dig into those old files and find something you forgot was there :D

I like the colour versions too, there's something about trains that just makes you want to explore them ...... Skippy (Australia)

Cool stuff. I am a real sucker for old trains. I like color version of the coupler a lot. I don't think I have seen anything similar before. thumb.gif
