I Just Got My Dream Gig

I am so incredibly thrilled right now, I'm beside myself. The morning show on one of Seattle's radio stations had a feature that they called "Hot Shots," which was photos of local models, all done in a Maxim-style (no nudity, as it's all related to the show and the station). To make a long story short, they had to discontinue the feature because models were submitting shots that they weren't clear to submit (the photographer owns the copyright), and they even had a few underage girls lie about their age and submit shots.
I explained to the DJ and producer what the risks were, and told them that the solution is to get all their content from one photographer who can work with others, but guarantee clear copyright on all images and keep age records. I keep 18 USC 2257 records, even though I don't shoot sexual content - it's just a good cover-your-rear idea.
The end result is that they appreciated my explaining it, and asked me to be that photographer. I took the full three seconds to carefully consider the offer before accepting.
This has only been announced by word of mouth over the past 48 hours, and I already have more offers from local models to shoot than I've gotten year-to-date. The exposure I'm going to get can't be bought at any price.
This is the 4x6 I made to promote the new feature. Model is Seattle-native Celeste Von. Photo and layout by me.
