Casually surfing some great new features here on Smugmug -Photorank- I was both pleased and confused at the following situation:
Here was one of my pics in Motorcycles / Popular Photos:
http://www.smugmug.com/popular/Motorcycles/1/45530729
so I clicked to 'buy this photo' to check s/cart pricing is consistant with my galler
and got this message, SEE ATTACHED BELOW:

Further examination showed same result on Only that image in my actual gallery...
Details : this is a highly cropped image 3500x2300 down to 1154x740
https://rich56k.smugmug.com/gallery/985918/4/45530729
However from same sequence see:
https://rich56k.smugmug.com/gallery/985918/4/45532166
which is cropped down to: 1279x853 shows in cart avail @ 8x12, 12x18
(all i offer are 2x3 ratio prints )
I believe i did a lot of post on said photo in iPhoto (yes i know, it was last year!?)
Could that be part of it??

The worst part is the error message saying "you can't purchase a print of this, NO PRODUCTS APPEAR TO BE FOR SALE." (emphasis added)-
Fact is almost ALL of my images are for sale.....(I know this appears to be 'canned' message...any chance of rewording it?)

Hmmm...
rich
I'm almost sure its something i did?!?/Any recommended course of action?

Rich, the resolution is too low to match any items you've enabled for sale. Here's the resolution chart:

    Cool,
    thanks, Andythumb.gif
Guess my solution for future might be upload larger, allow crop in s/cart

ps: any thoughts on the wording of message ,
maybe something not quite as negative sounding?
(like 'please contact gallery' type message? just my .02)ne_nau.gif

Your customers won't get that message, because you're going to fix the resolution :)
