I took a bunch of pics the other day of street musicians. This was one of my favorites.

He was part of a string quintet playing Vivaldi, quite well in fact.

C&C always welcome.

Cheers,

    a beautiful shot!
excellent composition and exposure with just the right amount of bokah

there's something inframe on the right side that is unfortunate but, oh well.

he has a little white spot on his chin.

Thanks, Angelo. I guess I was so concerned with adjusting the curves in post that I missed the crumb on his chin. Then again, so did he. :D It should be easy enough to fix. The stuff in the backgound just came with the territory, I'm afraid. I was shooting between the heads of a large crowd and there were frequently people in garish colored clothing walking behind the musicians as well, so I think I was lucky to get this shot at all.

    Cheers,

Thanks, Rich. I hadn't looked at the music thread before and it's pretty cool. I might post a pic or two there later today. Nothing as dramatic as the concert shots that are there already, I'm afraid.

    Version 2
OK, so I removed the crumb. While I was at it I tweaked the curves and tried to clean up the background as much as I dared.
