Oly E300 flash question

I got an E300 with 2 lens for Christmas and have been trying to get a compatible flash for it since then. I ordered the Oly FL36 from DELL and they keep telling me that it is delayed. This has gone on for months now - is there another compatible flash that I can purchase in the 2 to 3 hundred dollar range?

I have been in photography for over 40 years but just getting started with digital. My F4 and Hasselblad have not been touched since the E300 arrived!

The FL50 is also available. More expensive and more options. I would put your name on the waiting list for the FL36 @ B & H. It took over a month of waiting, but I finally got one for my husbands E500. It's a great flash if you don't need the extra benefits and expense of the FL50. Worth waiting for.
