You asked about the Lowepro Off Trail 2, I have it but don't really like the way it fits my body.
I did buy a Lowepro AW 75 Holster bag and two of the Size 3 lens cases that attach similar to the Off Trail 2. I can put my 5D w grip and 100 - 400 in the main bag and the 24 - 105 and 17 - 40 in the other cases along with my 420 flash and batteries, cards ect. Makes quite a load, but is reasonably comfortable.
Thanks GTogs...I checked out these two in the store the other day, and the Off Trail 2 was much larger than I thought. The 75AW was not much smaller, perhaps 'thicker'. What about it makes it fit better or more comfortable?
Maybe I should scrap the idea of a bag to hold my camera with zoom attached, and just take off the zoom when I no longer need the camera. I could put the zoom in another pocket instead, much like the Off Trail 1 would have me do...rats it is tough to find a bag
I started off with a Tamrac Velocity 5, which was just too small for what I needed. So I picked up a Lowepro Mini Trekker backpack, which is pretty good. Although, the only thing I dont like about backpacks, is the need to take it off and set it down every time I need to change a lens !.
I decided to get a Crumpler Bens Pizza XL to use as a walk around. It fits a 70-200 f/4 along with the 20D body with a 24-70 attached nicely.
I'm just waiting on a Lowepro Stealth Reporter 500AW to be delivered. So I'll see if that suits me a little better than the backpack. As ever though, it's a trade off. The bigger bags carry more stuff, but get heavy real quick !

What I like about the 75AW is that I can use it as a holster bag by itself and it doesn't have a built in belt that can be bulky.
I can also fit the 5D plus grip. Not all bags this style can.
