Now that's scary. It would drive me nuts knowing they're there. Nice captures.

I don't mind spiders but that damn thing is HUGE. I don't think I could sleep with it right over me. Spiders are fine as long as they are outdoors:D

Well Gus, one good thing about those spiders is that they are easy to spot. I'll stick with egrets I think. :uhoh They are pretty safe unless you're a frog or a fish.

    Good shots. thumb.gif

Sorry harry but i would have to go looking for egrets but spiders ? .. mate i have them all over the ceiling. Just stayed in an old yurt with some hippys over easter. We had several Huntsman spiders on the ceiling & there was one a good deal bigger than this fella.

Im not scared of spiders at all but when you turn the light off & lay in bed...its a bit un-nerving knowing they are straight above you walking about catching dinner.

I've never been really afraid of spiders either, but those might cause me to change my mind....

I could not sleep knowing buggers that big were right above me. No way.

    Freaky.

Great captures. They're too big for my taste.

But Thusie...thats where they come from. At least on the ceiling they are pre-occupied & not looking for somewhere new. Too many ticks outside for me...the joys of Lyme disease/Spotted fever/Tick typhus. Got bitten 2 weeks ago on the neck & my glands are still swollen & aching. Paralysis ticks are about the only thing i really dont like in the scrub. They kill a lot of dogs in these parts.

Hum..Good point there:):. Ticks freak me out way more than spidies. Young raccoons have to be the tick magnets of the world, nasty, nasty.
