How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

You're snappin' up all kinds of great bird shots, Dennis! I love the newly budding branches and the light on his face as he turns towards it. thumb.gif

Very nice. I like the way the plumage on top of his head is sticking up.

I happened to have shot a cardinal myself this AM.

I was actually out looking for hawks, but this was the best I could do. :giggle

Thanks for the comments on my image, I agree that the Cardinals Crest is up it makes a nicer photo, but I will take these birds any way I can. I just love them and there songs.

I would like to say that is a great shot as well of yours. Love the reds and blue in this shot.

Beautiful picture. Does justice to the male cardinal's plumage.

Great captures (a little busy with the twigs, but it's tough to get birds to cooperate). I see the photo and think of their simple, yet piercing song on a cool spring morning in Missouri.
