This coastal area is known for its many and varied forms of birds: wading birds, small birds and many raptors.

I came back with one red winged blackbird photo! It is a pretty photo, IMO, however those birds are abundant in the marshes very near my house.

In desperation I took a scenic. I posted it here as I am sure that there is abundant wildlife lurking in there somewhere. (Those gates control the water levels. I have not researched why they are in that particular deserted area. I often see them by old rice fields.)

Comments and criticism (? :rofl ) is/are welcome!

Have a good one!

ginger (Ultra wide (10-22) and ultra long (400 plus extender) were used. Wide on scenic and long on bird)
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Nice images, Ginger. I especially like the first one. Love the feeling of exquisite seclusion you achieved. I like your low angle shot with the big skies above and a long, long, long road leading to nowhere'sville. thumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Landscapes are definately your strong suit Ginger. Not that your other types of shots are bad, but the the ones of yours that make me really look are the landscape ones. Love that 1st shot.thumb.gif
