When the Ducks come to you
Not getting much past the back yard now day looking out the window and seeing a Mallard parked at the neighbors was a shock. First though great photo op, grab camera, second thought, D@%N! Netting a injured bird is not on the list for today. Muffed both shots since I was pushing bird to lift off which it did, yea! Then I hear another one, look over my shoulder and on the roof of the other neighbors house was the hen, don't want to have to go up there either.
High point I did get a couple good shots of her before she took off and actually cranked the EC up enough..First time ever:clap:clap:clap
C&C welcome.

Good captures too. On the comp, when I'm shooting a subject and know I'm not goig to get the whole body in I try to comp it so the subjects body comes out of the lower corner of the frame (left or right depending on the direction they are looking).

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Sure Harry sure
Thanks and will try to remember the comp part, will probably take a bit for it to sink in... Look how long it took for the +EV
