hi everybody,

if you go to my site on IE, for eg. try this gallery

http://photowardrobe.smugmug.com/gallery/1335206/1/62973501

try and move your cursor on each of the thumbnail and you will notice that the green highlight will not go away even if you move your cursor. it tends to spread to some of the thumbnails.

for example, see the attachment.

i have no problem on FF. are there bugs?? help from anyone is appreciated. thanks
Nonilady
long way to go but getting there:D:ivar:lynnma

I checked different view styles (smugmug, traditional, all thumbs), but it doesn't seem to be anything wrong in my IE, too. ne_nau.gif

Could you check the exact version of your IE by going to '?' and then 'info' or 'about'. The window then should look like the picture I attached from my version with hasn't the issue you see.

my problem is not juust that, everytime when i view my site on IE, the buy this photo. multiphoto icons tend to be covered by this white block, partially transparent eg here http://photowardrobe.smugmug.com/photos/64150751-M.jpg

it is on every gallery and even on filmstrip the `left or right scroll pointer' also covered with the same thing.

i am totally lost in the dark now.....

Here's a picture of the 'Print Screen'-key ('Prn Scr' or in German 'Druck S-Abf') on the top right of most keyboards which shoots a screenshot which you can then import into your graphic editing software via the 'paste' function from usually the edit menu.
Crop and save it as a picture which you then can upload to the forum or to your smugmug account. How to post a picture in dgrin (using your smugmug account) is explained here.

This applies to Windows only. If you're on MAC have a look here.

    Hope this helps,

Okay, so it's not your version that's the problem. We're taking a look at your cobranding, but let's have you clear your cache first to make sure it's not something that simple. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/using/howto/customizing/clearcache.mspx#EDB

Clear it following those instructions, close down your browser entirely, then open it again and check your gallery.

    Two more things to try:

1 - Does this occur in your IE browser on other smugmug sites? For example, do you see the same problems here: http://jedi.smugmug.com/gallery/1278444

2 - If you're logged in when you see these problems, try logging out and seeing if they persist.

other smugmug site do not give the same problem.

looks like it is on mine only.

yes, it still gives the problem either i am logged in or out.

    why is this happening??

That's a good question. Sorry, but I don't know yet.

Fortunately, it seems as though others browsing your site in IE don't have the same problem. So give us some time to sort through your cobranding and we'll see if we can figure it out.

I'll email you when I figure something out.

I have a couple ideas, nonilady.

Check your email or just email me directly by clicking on my name to the left and then on 'send a message via email to Sheaf.'
