Death's door
I took this on a field trip that I went on today with my daughter's 4th grade class. Strange inspiration for this shot, I think.
Anyway, I have a lot of variations of this shot in my head. This is a crop of the original.
Any thoughts?

- As already mentioned, check your horizon, you're listing to starboard a bit.
- I would re-crop this to remove the heads in the foreground and include the top of the door. The heads are distracting and cutting off the top of the door just doesn't feel right to me (can't give a technical reason for it, sorry).
- I really like the idea of desaturating the outside scene. The B&W conversion looks like it could use a little more contracts/toning.
- What really makes the image (aside from the B&W of the outdoors) is the expression on the lady to the right of the door.
Nice capture; you have a good start towards making it a very nice image. My Photos
