I just made a purchase myself and looking forward to using the white, gray and blackpoint refferrences in my Nikonscan software with this card. I really do sound like a newbie. "grin"
I bought the WhiBal about a year ago. If I remember to actually shoot it, it works pretty well. The grey is handy, you can click on in it Adobe Raw to set a white balance. But I do have to be careful not to get any glare on it, that spoils everything.

The WhiBal is an excellent card. I have two of them, one of the old style and a new "G6" model. There's some information on the WhiBal web site that discusses the technology behind the cards and why all cards may not be technically correct. Michael Tapes goes takes a lot of effort to make the WhiBal cards technically correct. www.whibal.com

Thanks wxwax for the post and good thought, For the price I am being cautious about the accuracy of the 3 tone card, I will post as soon as possible on my own experience, Leroy
