The feathers on the head of this colorful bird are unique looking. They look like they would feel rubbery if you would touch them.

    Beautiful bird, great photos. I would consider cropping the first and the 3rd so that there was more canvas in front of the birds eyes.

    Well done. Pretty cool bird. Is that their every day coloration/plumage...or are those some breeding colors?

    Everday. It's the male so that's why the colors are more vibrant. Using the 300 L helps to. Beautiful lens.

    Especially if it's the f/2.8 version. :D Now...if you used Nikon..you could have really had some funky blues. :uhoh rolleyes1.gif
