Plus a Heron, I think it is a Tri Color Heron. It is also out past its bedtime!

    I am not sure why their feathers are so blue!

    I used Lab, and I don't have time to work more on them as I am leaving to shoot in about 1/2 an hour. I just steepened the curves.........nothing fancy.

    It was getting dark................then I came home, worked them up and went to bed.

    Those are beautiful gulls Ginger. I love the pose and composition, they do look a little soft though. It's easy in LAB to take colors a little too far. I've never seen one of these in real life so I don't know if the blue is too blue or not.


    I'd love to see more of these guys!

    These are very neat gulls, Ginger. I've never seen them before. I love the composition of the gull shot in particular. I bet with their coloration they would make stunning black and whites!!! thumb.gif
