Lighthouse original and some messing around

I'm pretty new to adjusting shots with my paint shop, but here's one of my examples. Any pointers would be appreciated!

    I might have tried to isolate the building from the shore...make it into two more detailed pix. Very nice though.rolleyes1.gif

    Have you fooled with layer masks yet? Try applying the adjustments you made, and then erase those adjustments from the sky so it doesn't get so bright. There's a great tutorial on this, it should come up if you search for layer masks.

    Nice photo, I like the changes except for the sky itself. Post-processing is fun, eh? mwink.gif

    Great job!
    Looks great to me. I might not have cropped so close to the shore line, I think it might have kept some of the perspective but color looks great.
