Ch 63: 30 sec exposure

How does this look? Clouds were moving pretty fast, so I was hoping for some smooth sky motion:

Taken Sat, April 22, at the Angeles Crest.
Canon 30D + 17-85 IS USM, plus 3.0 ND (x1000), f/32 at 30s, ISO 400.

    How much detail is in the shadows on the right? I can't really tell in my monitor. I'm guessing there is more than I can see.

    I'm not sure about the shadows, monitors can be tricky, it looks like plenty..ne_nau.gif

    Cool concept!

    Love the fixed 'v' lines of the mountain edges in contrast to the blurry lines in clouds. I think it would be even more fantastic if there were a small patch of blue in the sky for reference to the cloud motion. But great pic as is thumb.gif

    Unfortunately, no blue sky was availalbe at the time ne_nau.gif
    But at least the clouds were moving fast to offset rock-solid... mountains rolleyes1.gif

    Very beautiful and calming. The sky works making the whole shot look like silk.
