FYI:
for no reason at all, all my microsft products dont work right.. ;( BRAND NEW COMPUTER !!
when i try to "save as" or "open" files, the programs lock-up! my virus software says all is fine... :scratch
so i start to worry and then i start to scream and then i start to throw things around the room :pissed
i go to google ( i type in my problem ) and it says something about a recent microsoft update patch can cause your sytem to not work correctly :dunno
there is a resolution whereby you have to edit your registry and set new values and type in something that looks like this: {A4df56.... yadda yadda yadd ... } it went on 4 ever! and they warn you that if you dont know what your doing - dont try it or you may not be able to start your computer again! :cry
I have no idea about these things but ya know what i did it!!! :
i fixed my computer all by myself - i am so proud...
anyway, if you experience any of your microsoft products not working correctly, ie. you cant save as or open and IE locks up - then its not a virus but a bad patch that was updated from microsoft....
Here is an article about what happened to me..
