I've conflicting suggestions though - I'd like it more if the mug were clearer, but I'd rather have it closer to the pump with a hand holding the mug as you already have in the pic, than for it to be set down.
Yep!! Where do you fancy meeting? lol Used to play in a ladies pool league! Haven't played for ages!!

sorry for being late to respond, if you havent noticed, im always late to challenges
anyway, its a cool shot. however, on my monitor, it looks a bit noisy, did you try running it through noise ninja or neatimage yet?
Also, if you decide to reshoot it, try doing a custom white balance to get more accurate color rendering.
heres an idea:
get a fishing pole line (anything clear will work).
ask the bartender (nicely) if you can shoot him/her pouring a drink but instead of pulling with the lever with their hands have them attach the fishing line to the handle and then pull on it. fishing lines should be able to hold the tension just fine. then, do several shots and find the best settings to use. then i doubt you will even have to edit your photo because the fishing line should be nearly invisible. you picture would look like its a ghostly invisible bartender!

With both points.
